About Studious

The AI Note Taker Built From The Ground Up For Students

Why we built this

Every student knows the feeling.

You went to class. You paid attention. You even took notes. But three weeks later, sitting in front of a blank exam review, you realize you do not actually know what you learned.

You know you were there. You just cannot remember what mattered.

That is not a focus problem. That is a memory problem. And no amount of highlighting fixes it.

Studious was built for that moment, and for the weeks before it.

Record where allowed, upload approved class materials, or paste your notes. Studious turns each class into structured Class Notes, then builds Course Memory over time. By the time exams arrive, you are not starting from scratch. You are reviewing from a course memory that has been building all semester.

Built for responsible learning

Studious is not a shortcut. It does not write your essays, take your exams, or think for you.

It helps make sure the time you spent in class actually counts.

The class you attended becomes notes you can study. The notes you collect become Course Memory. Your Course Memory becomes Exam Prep.

That is not cheating. That is studying smarter.

Studious is designed to be used only where recording is permitted. We built the permission question into the product from day one, not as fine print, but as a design principle.

Audio is not the product. Learning is.

By default, Studious focuses on the transcript, Class Notes, Course Memory, and Exam Prep. Audio playback is controlled by recording permissions and is never included in tutor, parent, or classmate previews.

We are starting with college and university students because the use case is clearest there. We are also building toward older high school students with the right permission and support model for parents, tutors, and teachers.

Who it is for

Studious is for the student who shows up, tries to keep up, and still feels lost when exams arrive.

It is for the student who missed a class and needs to catch up without chasing three people in the group chat.

It is for the student whose professor talks fast, covers a lot, and moves on before the important part lands.

It is for the student with five courses who needs each class to build toward something, not just become another disconnected file in a folder.

Where we are at

Studious launched in 2026, starting with Canadian post-secondary students.

We are early. The product is real, the team is small, and we are building toward a version of Studious that supports students from first year through graduation.

If you are a student and have tried Studious, we want to hear what helped, what confused you, and what you wish it did next.

If you are a professor, teacher, tutor, or parent with questions about how Studious works, we want to have that conversation honestly. Responsible classroom use is part of the product, not an afterthought.

Studious is built and operated in Canada.
